Gingerman Raceway Autocross

   Well, the turn out wasn't that great, but we had fun anyway!  Randy and his wife Janell and I caravaned from Milwaukee.  Randy's '88 Si blew an oil line in Racine, so we had to leave it.   Fortunately the gas station owner didn't mind if we left it overnight.  We were able to patch it up on Monday night and get it back to Randy's house.  Randy and I shared my '90 Si at the race and Janell raced her '95 Nissan Altima SE.  Here are a few pictures.  I'll add more after Randy develops his film.

	Here's a shot of Randy on his first practice run.  His car didn't quite make it to the meet so we shared my car.  This is between turns 1 and 2, the end of pit road is in the foreground.
	Another shot of Randy, closer to turn 1 this time. Somehow, we both managed to go off track on our first timed run in this spot.  We were barreling down the front straight, probably mesmerized by the whine of the turbo, and forgot to slow down for turn 1 on our cool down lap.  Randy ditched it straight into the grass, while I entertained the crowd with a 180 and then into the grass backwards!   Apparently no harm done, although we both got DNF's unfortunately :(
